Metal Stampings Materials - Stainless Steel

Stainless steel adds some important characteristics over Cold Rolled Steel but these come at some degree of added cost - not just for the material itself.

Stainless Steel is tougher than Cold rolled steel and the tonnage is about 1 ½ times the equivalent thickness of  Cold rolled steel. It laser cuts well and forms well.  Use annealed temper when ever you can.
