Metal Stampings Materials - Brass, Copper and Aluminum

Brass -  Blanks and forms similar to cold rolled steel.  Tin is a typical coating.

Copper -  Blanks well and the tonnage is similar to cold rolled steel. Caution must be exercised for forms with a small radius due to fracturing.  Tin is a typical finish.

Aluminum -  Easy to blank with tonnage typically being 1/2 that of cold rolled steel.  Forming varies with the type and the temper.  Anodizing and painting are the most common finishes.
